Brazoria County has a diverse landscape and it is reflected in its parks system. Offering a variety of local settings from beachfront, rivers, bayous and bays to bottomland and hardwood forests, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Inclusive to our park system are 9 parks, 23 miles of sandy beaches, 21 boat ramps, 2 RV campgrounds, historical homes, interpretive center, day use facilities, playgrounds, a swimming pool, horseshoes, volleyball , picnic areas and restrooms.

We also offer meeting rooms, cabin, dormitory, pavilion and chapel rentals.

Quintana Beach County Park, located on tiny Quintana Island has often been referred to as the best kept secret on the Texas gulf coast. Its 6/10 mile of pedestrian beach is bordered on the west end by a lighted fishing pier and on the east end by the Quintana jetty.

Quintana Park siteAmmenities include an expansive boardwalk, covered pavilions, a full service RV park and quaint cabins available for rent. Enjoy your time here bird watching, swimming or just watching the ships come in through the adjacent Freeport ship channel.

San Luis Pass County Park is a 15-acre bay park with both day-use amenities and overnight facilities. The park features paved full service RV camping, cabins, a meeting room with kitchenette, interpretive center, restrooms, a playground, fish cleaning stations, paved parking, and a boat launch.

Camp Mohawk has a lot to offer, from hiking on trails along Chocolate Bayou, kayaking with your own kayak, fishing on Mohawk Lake, horseshoe pits, volleyball, basketball court, softball field, playground area, swimming pool, cabin and dormitory rentals.
