Library Clerks-Pearland Westside and Sweeny Libraries (Part-time)

High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Must be able to work well with the public and possess good verbal communication skills.  Applicant must be able to type 30 WPM; a keyboarding test will be given.  Duties include, but are not limited to; operate on-line automated computer system, send and receive books and other materials to and from other libraries, collect fine money, keep statistics, answer phone, type, file and perform other duties as assigned.  Salary is $11.77 per hour. 

 

Hours

Pearland Westside-24 hours per week

Sweeny-20 hours per week

Senior Accountant (FT-Auditor’s Department)

 

Accounting degree and 5 years’ experience required.  Candidate must have strong analytical skills, good verbal and written communication ability, and solid computer background including Excel and Word.  Experience with PeopleSoft financial software and / or Tyler Odyssey judicial software a plus.  Job duties include, but not limited to, payroll accounting, detailed account analyses, query/report writing and internal audits.  Candidate must be flexible to changes in work processes and job responsibilities.  Hours:  M-F, 8 am – 5 pm.  Please apply at the Brazoria County Human Resources Department or applications may be obtained and submitted at this website.

 

 

Shelver – Sweeny Library

Must be 16 years of age and have at least two years of high school.  Duties include, but are not limited to; shelving books and other library materials in alphabetical order and perform other duties as assigned.  Applicant must be able to work well with the public and possess good verbal communication skills.  Starting salary is $8.06 per hour.  Applicant must be able to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled.  10 hours per week.  Please apply at the Brazoria County Human Resources Dept. or applications may also be obtained and submitted at this website.
