Library Clerks-Sweeny and West Columbia Libraries (Part-time)

High School Diploma or equivalent required, or combination of education and experience.  Must be able to work well with the public and possess good verbal communication skills.  Applicant must be able to type 30 WPM; a keyboarding test will be given.  Duties include, but are not limited to; operate on-line automated computer system, send and receive books and other materials to and from other libraries, collect fine money, keep statistics, answer phone, type, file and perform other duties as assigned.  Salary is $10.19 per hour.  Applicant must be able to work evenings and weekends as necessary.  Please apply at the Brazoria County Human Resources Dept. or call 979-864-1809.  Applications may also be obtained and submitted at this website.

Shelvers – Manvel and Sweeny Libraries

Must be 16 years of age and have at least two years of high school.  Duties include, but are not limited to; shelving books and other library materials in alphabetical order and perform other duties as assigned.  Applicant must be able to work well with the public and possess good verbal communication skills.  Starting salary is $5.85 per hour.  Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays as scheduled, Manvel-15 hours per week and Sweeny-10 hours per week.  Please apply at the Brazoria County Human Resources Dept. or call 979-864-1809.  Applications may also be obtained and submitted at this website.

Tax Office: Permanent Part-time position(s) available in Alvin, Angleton and West Columbia locations. 

 

High School Diploma or equivalent required or combination of education and experience.
