2015, the following positions are available.
Performs as a contributing member of the public health
emergency planning, preparing and response team. Expected to respond as directed with the team
to any threats to public health, whether natural or man-made. Performs routine and complex research work
in the fields of epidemiology and bioterrorism preparedness programs. Works
under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and
independent judgment. in the performance of the duties. This position is a grant-funded position and
the position and salary is directly dependent upon grant funds received.
8 am – 5 pm M-F with some week-end and evening work required. May be required to work as a part of the
response team in the event of a public health emergency.
Education and/or Experience
from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in
science, biology, clinical or laboratory health care or a related field. May have an equivalent combination of
education and experience. LVN preferred.

Must be 16 years of age and have at least two
years of high school. Duties include,
but are not limited to; shelving books and other library materials in
alphabetical order and perform other duties as assigned. Applicant must be able to work well with the
public and possess good verbal communication skills. Starting salary is $8.06 per hour. Applicant must be able to work evenings and
Saturdays as scheduled. Freeport-10
hours per week and Lake Jackson (two positions) one is 12 hours per week and one
