The Texas coast including Brazoria County has not been affected by the undersea oil spill off the Louisiana coast. If Texas is affected by this spill, the affects will not be seen on our beaches for another two weeks or so. However, this information is to educated the public on what tarballs are and what effects they will have on marine life and on the Gulf fish and shrimp we eat.
